TOADHALL MONTESSORI NURSERIES, MEITHRIN AND OUT OF SCHOOL ACADEMY

CHILDCARE OFFER IN WALES FOR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS

Toadhall Montessori Nurseries and Meithrin Flying Start Programme for children aged 2 years

Toadhall Montessori Nurseries and Meithrin, are registered to provide the Childcare Offer for Wales, for eligible children from the term after their 3rd birthday to when they start full time school in the reception class. The Childcare Offer supports eligible Parents with childcare fees for up 30 hours per week for 48 weeks of the year.

During term time, the 30 hours is made up of the hours your child attends their part time entitlement at a state Foundation Learning Nursery, (FLN). For example, in Cardiff children attend their FPN for 12.5 hours per week. This means up to 17.5 hours can be claimed under the Childcare Offer. Other Local Authorities may vary on how the 30 hours is made up.

Parents can also claim childcare costs for up to 30 hours per week for 9 of the 13 weeks school holidays. The other 4 weeks are paid for in full at the current fees rate, by parents.

Parents pay Toadhall Montessori Nursery for meals and snacks and any Wrap Around Care charges, including a full activity programme before and after the Childcare Offer hours.

The current hourly rate for the Childcare Offer is £6.67p per hour, for the whole of Wales.

Please also note when your child is 3 and accessing the Childcare Offer, we no longer offer a 10% discount for siblings. This is due to the increased amount of administration that is required for us to process the Childcare Offer for each child, every month, which is not covered by the CCO hourly rate of £6.67p.

If you feel you would be interested/eligible for the Childcare Offer Wales, please discuss this with Miss Sandy, Owner and Principal or Miss Rachael, Senior Operational Leader, at the time of booking.

Full costings for fees will also be discussed at the time of booking.
