TOADHALL MONTESSORI NURSERIES, MEITHRIN AND OUT OF SCHOOL ACADEMY

We are proud to announce that Toadhall Montessori Nurseries and Meithrin has been successful in securing a limited number of places to deliver the Flying Start programme from September 2026 for the expansion of the 2 year funding rollout in Wales. This will be offered within our Nursery and Meithrin settings.

Eligible parents will receive 12.5 hours of funded childcare a week, (2.5 hours a day), from the term AFTER their child turns 2 years, during term time only, which equates to 39 weeks per year. The current hourly rate is £7. This means you will get financial support for childcare costs of £17.50 per day.

You will need to contact Flying Start to find out if you are eligible. Flying Start will also be sending letters out to parents, when their child/ren become eligible, from June 2026.

Parents can also use HMRC Tax Free Childcare alongside their Flying Start funding.

Flying Start places are very limited at both the Nursery and Meithrin settings, so early booking is highly recommended
